Kirwan Carpentry takes your renovation from concept to keys. We coordinate the designers, architects and a vetted network of licensed sub-trades — managing the schedule, the permits and the budget so you have one number to call, not a dozen.
What sets us apart is that we came up on the tools. We self-perform the carpentry — so the contractor running your job is also the craftsman finishing it.

One trusted point of contact coordinating every trade, permit and inspection.

Whole-home transformations managed end to end — design, trades and finish carpentry under one roof.

The heart of the home, built to last — custom cabinetry, stone and millwork detailed to the millimetre.

Spa-calm ensuites and hard-working family baths, waterproofed and tiled to a fault.

Bookcases, banquettes, panelling and closets made for your space — never pulled off a shelf.

Warm, dry, livable lower levels — suites, gyms and media rooms that feel like the rest of the house.

Statement staircases and railings, rebuilt or restored with craft.

Cedar decks and outdoor rooms built to weather Ontario seasons beautifully.
Precise, considered renovations across Toronto — measured twice, finished to the millimetre, handed over spotless.
We start with a proper sit-down — your vision, how you live, your budget and timeline. No jargon, no pressure.
Drawings, material selections and a transparent fixed quote, so you know exactly what you’re getting before we lift a hammer.
We schedule trades, order long-lead materials and handle permits and drawings — the unglamorous part, done right.
The build. Daily tidy-ups, steady updates and the finish carpentry we’re known for. You’re never left guessing.
A detailed final walkthrough, every snag handled, and a workmanship warranty you can hold us to.
Seán began his carpentry and joinery apprenticeship in Dublin in 2010, learning the trade the old way — by hand, under craftsmen who measured in millimetres and forgave nothing.
He moved to Toronto in 2016, built with a renowned custom-home firm, and founded Kirwan Carpentry in 2020. Today he oversees every project personally.

∞ Attention to detail

“They produced stellar results on the full ground-floor renovation of our century home — interior wall removal, oak flooring, kitchen cabinetry, a steel-lintel structural opening, a built-in bookcase and a large cedar deck. Always communicated well, delivered on time with great attention to detail, and kept an incredibly tidy site.”

“When it came time for an ambitious, to-the-studs gut of our main bathroom, we knew we could trust Seán to pull it off perfectly. He keeps things on budget and delivers on the timeline he sets out. It’s rare to find a company that executes the big stuff while not compromising the small details.”

“Seán started out fixing a broken door and ended up renovating our entire house. You knew everything would be done as said, on time, and with methodical care. With a skill set that stretches from framing to fine carpentry he was a lifesaver. We’ll hire him again at the first opportunity.”
